Founded in 1970, Brim Laundry Equipment Company manufactures and provides equipment, parts, and services to commercial and industrial laundries for markets spanning linen supply, industrial, dust control, apparel, and specialty applications. Brim contracted with Ayoka to develop production monitoring and automation software for different laundry equipment (washers, dryers, shuttles). This .NET / SQL Server based application used AJAX (asynchronous JavaScript and XML) to refresh specific areas of the web user interfaces, e.g. temperature gauges, motor speed, in order to display one-second data collection intervals from microprocessors. Ayoka performed the full range of software development activities, including services to identify, collect, and manage data for business intelligence reporting and systems integration. Today, Ayoka provides on-going IT support and maintenance.
