Legacy to Web-based Solution

Rewrote the legacy program to a web-based solution using Ruby on Rails, a robust open source development framework. This solution lets users to access a more user-friendly version directly from the web. Additionally, any application updates are available immediately.

Customers of this software receive the application on a subscription basis, rather than buying a single-user license, increasing usability while decreasing software maintenance costs and licensing violations. Moving to subscription based software gave our Client a more predictable, steady cash flow.
